“A morte do Ouvidor”

This book is about a murder of a “judge” in the XVII century in Cape Verde, a Portuguese colony back then. It’s a historical novel that shows and tell how the judgement of all the guilty parties where trialed.
“A familia Tragor”

This book tells the story of a very peculiar family in Cape Verde.
“O dia das calças roladas”

This book central story is about a popular public manifestation that happened on the 30th and 31st of August of 1981 in Cape Verde due to a change in the Agriculture reformation system.
I decided to create a link between these three illustrations by layout and color.
The layout and style are meant to be like book covers and have the remembrance of comics or old illustrations where there is a lot of action represented in only one picture.
About the colour, I can say that the illustrations were printed in a 300g color paper. The three paper colours represent the three colours of the flag of Cape Verde.
